Hey guys, I'm a rank amateur looking for help! I appreciate your patience with me.
I picked up a pair speakers on the cheap, NHT's SuperTwo ( http://www.nhthifi.com/site/pdf/SuperTwoManual.pdf ), but am unsure about what amplifier to match them with. I'm currently driving them with SMSL's TPA3118D2 based SA-36A Pro, and at moderate listening levels the volume knob's turned only a quarter of the way to maximum.
Do things seem to check out here? What would you personally pair with the speakers?

Hi,
A good used cheap stereo amplifier is an idea, e.g. Pioneer A300X.
Quarter volume just means a healthy input level, from CD ?
Clipping level is can be anywhere on the dial, and the higher
the input level the lower it will be on the dial. Also the amp
needs a good 24V supply to reach its maximum levels.
rgds, sreten.

The power supply I'm using with the SMSL is a healthy 24V 6A brick. Haven't noticed any clipping yet, though I could be mistaken.
I'm having trouble finding information about the Pioneer A300X. How does it compare with the usual offenders such as the Pioneer A-35R, Emotiva mini-x A-100, and older offerings from NAD and Rotel?
