Some of you may have seen my sub project. (Do a search for other posts by me, and there's also a detailed log here: http://www.avforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=93244 )
I'm after some reliable half decent amplification to power it. At the moment it's being powered from an old Technics SU-Z65 or something integrated amp, what I believe is putting out 100w/channel.
I have found this:
http://www.alesis.com/products/ra150/
And was wondering if it would be at all suitable for powering my sub in bridged mode? Just the fact that it would be at all better than the old technics amp is enough to warrant me buying it. It's £110, which seems like good value.
Thanks for any help

Not exactly what you're looking for, but in that price range this sub plate amp takes some beating: http://cpc.farnell.com/jsp/endecaSearch/partDetail.jsp?SKU=LS01562&N=401
Since you're using a car sub, I'm going to assume it's a 4 ohm driver. That amp isnt rated for 4 ohm bridge opperation.. and probably won't survive at 4 ohm bridge. If your sub is an 8 ohm driver, just completely ignore me. 😀
