amp9-basic and amp6-sneeky assembly instructions

Hi guys,

I have been waiting to build both of my kits but sadly struggling to find assembly instructions for them.

I have version 1.2 of the amp6 and can not find out any values for R2, R8 and R11 on the documents I have found and not keen to power it on until I am sure I won't blow any thing up because of the missing resistors.

I have not found ANY instructions to put together the amp9 kit and getting a bit disappointed that 41hz has not replied to my emails and their documentation website is down (and seems to have been down for quite some time)

Could some one please forward me their copy of the build instructions as having these two kits sitting in parts is starting to get really frustrating

I'm having the same problem with an AMP32 kit. I posted here a few days ago, but didn't get any response.

And someone else asked about the AMP15-PS a few days before that. Looks like this is an ongoing problem with 41hz.

If anyone does manage to find a source for the instructions, please reply to one of these threads -- there are probably a bunch of people looking for them.

Here's hoping the 41hz web site is back up soon.

I have the assembly instructions for both the AMP9 Basic v1.2 and AMP6 Basic v1.20.

Also be sure to bridge these points on the AMP9 Basic, otherwise it won't run in Class D mode, something that is rather inconveniently left out of the manual.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

Hi All,
Yep, I have the same issue but with the Amp9 (Tall Caps version) and also the Truepath. I think Jan (site owner) has a few issues outside of work which is preventing him from getting the site back on-line.

If anyone has the docs for the following I would be very grateful.
- Amp9 (tall caps, I am assuming there are differences between this and the basic version)
- PS55
- PSU1-SS (Soft Start) kit
- PSU1-VR (Voltage Regulators) kit
- I have the build docs for the TruePath however this is the first version and im not sure of there have been updates since then. Happy to share if anyone needs them.
thanks
rob

Too bad... That also was a good source of knowledge.

And in the meantime i'm kind of stuck with my two amp6. If someone can provide a more or less recent version of the assembly instructions, it will help a lot.

If I can get such a document, I will re-format it as a pdf and upload it here - hope it won't bother jan.

Many thanks in advance,

bruno

Yes, I agree, that was a good advice: I have first done the surface mounted diods (step 1 & 2 of bag 5) then these inductors. Soldering is much more easier.

Another feed-back if someone else uses the kindly provided AI: there is a small typo in step 1 of bag 3, you must solder *R9* and R10, not R8 and R10. R8 is used together with R11 for the new fault and overloadb functionalities (see revision history)

Thanks so much for the AMP6 pdfs, I was beginning to panic with my leftover components...
Wouldn't it be great if they put the docs on a cheap little usb with the kit if the Forum is going to stay down. Even adjusting the price would be better than no instructions.

Hi!
Thank's for sharing the schematics of the amp9 basic. I couldn't open the picture showing the points that needed to be bridged, so I'm just wondering if you could upload it again or in some other way share it with me 🙂

Thank's in advance!
