thanx and yes I've tried bi-amping in many configurations and with many different filters I have in my stock..🙂
I am processing a bi-amped active portable speaker system at the moment. I'm trying to figure out a way to die-cast the enclosures...
So far I've experimented a lot with PVC tube enclosures and am pretty sure about which drivers and filter I will use...
I'm working on two PVC prototypes at the moment with two visaton FR8 fullrange drivers per channel and one AMP32 per channel.
I'm going to put a lowpass filter (on/off switchable) on one channel each side (to straighten the mids and highs and minimalize comb filtering effects). Switching the filter off you can use one of them in stereo mode. (easy to put in my backpack...)😎 😎 😎
