Hi. I have some spare time in the office the next weeks and would like to start a new tube amp project by designing a PCB board of a nice amp (I don't have the competence to design the amp circuit myself)
The amp should have something around 15-20W (stereo, no monoblocks). I would like to use Svetlana or Sovtek tubes as my idea is to give the amp a "russian" touch. well this is only in the head.
If possible I would like to have an "odd" number of tubes, so for example one tube on the power supply part. May sound a bit weird but it is also with the overall design in mind.
Some schematics for working amps will be greatly welcomed 🙂
Thanks and best regards
Christoph

PCB design cannot be entirely divorced from circuit design. At the very least you need to understand what the function of each component is, and how best to place it. If not, disappointment and frustration are the likely outcomes when it oscillates or hums.
Thanks for the advise. But I am aware of this, I think. And I am not a beginner in PCB design at all.
Best regards Christoph
