Hi all, i'm interested in building an amplifier and since a few weeks i've spend several hours in this forum for useful information , but i still have some questions. I hope to find them here.
First of all, i respect all the people who are willing to share their knowledge of constructing a good project, because i know that there are other people , including me ,who can find answers to succeed .
I'm looking for an amp to match with my B&W 804 Nautilus, and i know now that they deserve a good amp.The problem is that i can make them swing when i turn my volume way up.I'm using a 15 W class A amplifier now,and i think they need more .
If anyone can make me a good suggestion for a good Pass-project ,then i would like to hear it .I don't want to overkill, so no need for a 2 X 1000 W amplifier. Any suggestion is helpful.
Regards

Aleph's are great amps if you have the money and dont mind the heat also be prepared to see the effects on the power bill 😀
Thanks Audio Freak, i'm aware that a true heavy Class A keeps the powermeter turning, but i've seen some solutions to switch an amplifier from Class A into AB.
Class A is the best!
If you don't mind the power consumption, stay at pure Class A.
This is the best one.

Class-A
I can underline that, Mpopovic, but i was only thinking of switching it into Class-AB when i wasn't playing music, just to keep the amplifier in stand-by mode.

is your amp the JLH 15 w class a?
i think you can increase the power
increase the rail voltage and the Iq
will increase power/ electric bill / power dissipation
what's your speaker efficency like?
i rebuilt mine from a 10 watt to a 25 watt
