Amp power button broken

Hello, so I would like some advice please, I have my Memphis amp and while I was pushing the power supply button it completely gave out and now I try to push the buttons back out I noticed they are not turning on at all. What can I do?

Not even mentioning a type number, a picture of the wrong parts and still assume we can give useful information?! 🙂

If it is a car amplifier then the thread is also in the wrong section. My tip is to check the steering wheel of the car in question, that is where the problem is.

Reminded me of being a young driver and had a go at wiring in my own 8 track player.
Driving along the road and the wires started burning and smelling.
So in a panic pulled all the wires out to disconnect them.
Had black lines across my hands where the red hot wires had burnt them.
Unforgivable mistake, had forgotten to fuse the player.

Yeah those are visual indicators called LEDs indicating PWR and PRT (whatever that may be). They are not switches. Feel free to Google the manual of a PRX300.1 to see what the function of the LEDs is as we would have to do the same to find out how YOUR device works. It seems you pushed the LEDs backwards.

Here I saved you 5 seconds:

PWR is surely Power. PRT is new on me but thanks to your manual it means "fault" (so "PROTECT"?) and these never were switches. You turn-on this type of amp by feeding a 12V signal from the "head".

PWR = Power.
PRT = Protect
The harm/misalignment of the LED´s probably happened, when assembling the frontplate without being careful enough 🙂
