hi, i'm getting one of the ucd400 amp kits from kevin at diycable(who rocks), and even though i'm a total newbie, the construction doesn't look too difficult to me--the one thing i haven't come across is a schemata on how to solder the leads to the balanced input (will be using rca-to-xlr cable)--anyone have any advice, tips, etc on that and building in general?
no answer is too simple, as my knowledge right now consists of don't stick a fork in the toaster.
