Amp for Ariel

The Ariel site seems to say that most SS amps will not sound the best with the Ariel. I will be using a Leach Amp, which I consider to be a top quality design (and I will be using top quality components in it), but I wonder if the Ariel's will sound good.

The leach amp is alright, and I have built a couple of them, but the Ariels shouldn't need that much power, and you would be better off with a lowered power class A design for this. It is closer to the recommendation from Lynn, which recommends tube amps.

Lynn Olson has also recommended the RE Designs SS amp for use with the Ariels. If memory serves, the RE Designs is basically a Leach amp with fully regulated power supplies, so a stock Leach may have a chance with these speakers.
