Hello, I'm wondering if there is a wiring guide for constructing the Amp Camp Amp (build 1.6) as a parallel input / mono unit? With fairly inefficient, low impedance speakers I'm figuring that building two Amp Camps and running them in this configuration will be the best way to get the most from my system.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.
just short two input hots , and short two output negative ones , positive are already shorted
could this be said for the rear power switch method as well for the 1.5?
I have both a 1.5 and 1.6 that I hope to build into 2 monoblocks.
if switch is in position that amp is working as regular stereo, then it is the case
didn't invest much time in switch function (except trick for making amp "self bridged"), so take that in account - I can't be responsible if someone do paralleling as I explained, and flip the switch in some wakoo position

Hi.
Have a feeling this was the thread I was looking for 🙂
I'm trying to understand how the L & R are wired together for the parallel mono and I think I understand...
Is this how you are suggesting wiring them together?
Thanks!

Hi
Wondering how this effects the input impedance of the amp(s)?
Same, doubled or halved?
Thanks!
