im using a car audio amp for subs powered with a car battery and charger. it never used to hum before but now it hums whenever i charge it while its on. i tried running my reciever and sub amp on all the different outlets and that didnt work. tried all my rca's. tested the output on my reciever which is fine. it only hums when charging.
the system is a yamaha reciever taking signal from my pc. the reciever is pwering to speakers and then the sub signal is going to the sub amp.
So then looks like you have 3 mains powered boxes in the system - the PC, the receiver and the charger (when connected). How's the PC connected to the receiver?
