OK, yesterday we covered the improvement of FM reception by using a good outdoor antenna. Thank you Adason. But the AM is still a problem because of the ferrite rod antenna which is attached to the rear of the unit and swivels out. There are no external lugs for the attachment of an AM antenna. Can this be improved?
Yes, look here. Scroll down to External Antenna Input, it tells you how to modify the ferrite bar with a couple of turns of wire to add an external antenna input.
