I spooned my email address on registry, edited it in cp but first post evaporated. Can I post without having received confirmation email?

You are showing as a "newbie" which is correct and it means your first few posts have to be approved by a moderator before they appear (so there can be a delay). Are you having problems posting on the main forums ?

I understand the early moderation of newbies. But my first post was a tripath question in D class amps that has not appeared and I didn't want to languish as a partially registered creature, especially as I knew there was a bit of uncertainty with my registration. Looks like my first carefully crafted request for knowledge disappeared into the ether so my first actual post a bit confused. I shall rewrite and save a copy before posting and see if it makes it to moderation. I assume that this thread is freely post-able to allow you to help the hopeless like myself...
