Alternative to Bose CC-1 or CC-2 wall controller?

Hi all,
I'm setting up a Bose outdoor speaker system for an area outside. I have some Bose 100v outdoor speakers and a dxa 2120 amplifier, and now just need some wall controllers. The Bose CC-1 and CC-2 are quite expensive here (everything else was bought secondhand) is there an alternative brand for these wall controllers? I've been googling but i comeup with wall controllers that have the power for the speaker going through the wall controller. The Bose dxa 2120 amplifier I have connects to the Bose wall controllers with a single cable made from cat5 network cable.

Anyone have any ideas of what will work?

I haven't seen the boards, but it seems on the amp manual there is a 10k pot and some switches with a capacitor. It isn't hard to replicate. Are there chips on the boards ?

From memory there is some circuitry on the back on the cc-1 and cc-2 wall controllers.

so how many zones is the outside area being divided into? how many speakers?

Just 4 100v speakers in 2 zones. The volume control will not have the power for the speakers going through them,it needs to connect to the amplifier.

that's unusual for a 70v line system and a quick look at the online info was me scratching my head, it does seem the controls are proprietary....
