I have a pair of Infinity RS-5000 speakers I picked up from a thrift shop, I replaced one Midrange driver then found that one of the woofers was 8 ohm instead of 4 ohms? The previous owner had no idea apparently? The problem is I can't find a suitable 10 inch 4 ohm 902-2864 woofer here in Australia? Is there a 10-inch 4-ohm woofer that would be a suitable replacement instead of the original which are hard to come by and priced above the worth of the speakers.
Peerless sls family of woofers should be up for the task whose paper cones behave smoothly in the xo region (600Hz).
