I have an old Klipsch KSW-150 10" subwoofer that I believe the amp plate is going out as it has a constant loud hum.
Looking for a reasonably priced amp to replace the original 150 Watt amp. Any help or ideas would be appreciated. 🙂

Madisound or Parts-express may have something that would work. If you want a plate amp that drops right in without modification you have to pull the old one and take all the measurements. Also somethings to look for is does the amp share the same box volume as woofer. Some amplifiers are not sealed, some are. The original amp is rated at 150 watts at 4ohms so you should find one with about the same output. I believe that your subwoofer is a bass reflex design so you may not want an amp with a fixed bass boost. The Hypex ds 2.0 looks good. Has a higher cost compared to others but has adjustable bass boost and subsonic filter. But isn't sealed. Hope this helps. Good luck.
