Ok, i will check this. But the relays engage delayed, when everything is up. That has nothing to do with the mute?
No, i dont.. I think its the same standard amp, as like GZPA 1.8k...only higher voltage and other output mosfets...So i will try later on, to check some more and reassemble..Maybe i dont worked clean on the driver board and missed a damaged part.
So, the Amp is broken again. It was working for a couple of days. Now the owner increased the alternator voltage from 14VDC to 14.4VDC without a music signal playing, but the amp was on..
One IRS21844S is exploded. He send me Pictures. How could this be? Maybe the IRS are not strong enough for the high voltage? I had measured before the rail at 12VDC, and that was allready about 400VDC and more.. Maybe somebody had this problems allready an can tell me, maybe what i made wrong.

The 21844 is good for more than 600v.
If the regulator uses a potentiometer, a dirty potentiometer could have been intermittent and caused a spike. Unlikely but it's hard to say what happened.
