Hi All! I found a pair of Altec Lansing 3 speakers at the local goodwill for $20.
I’ve had a look and the foam is definitely disintegrating so need refoamed, and there is a small tear in one of the grills.
The other issue is something I’m not sure how to describe (I’m a novice to speakers, these would be my first set of “audiophile” speakers). So they each have a port, and inside each I can see what looks like pink tissue paper. On one of the, this seems in place, while on the other I can see it has come away from the side slightly, but is still there. I’m not sure what this is so I’d like a bit more info so I know what to search for to repair it.
Are these worth picking up as a project for that price or should I just leave them and wait for something in a bit better condition? (If this local goodwill got these kinds of “audiophile” brands more often I’d more likely just pass, but these are the first of this sort I’ve seen so I guess that’s why I’m particularly tempted).
Thanks!

Greets!
It's damping material, so just reattach.
Mid - late '70s model sold at Pacific Stereo, HIFI Buys, etc., mass market level to hopefully capitalize on the success of the new 'audiophile' M19, M15, M14, so your call as for worth.

I think these are the Mark ii’s, the ones I saw are the mark i’s, without the fancy “three” rings
