Altec 806A Tweeter help

I just picked up this Altec 8A. There was no high frequency so I removed the tweeter and found the leads both broken.I was able to solder the leads back together, I made a shield to protect the diaphram and watch the magent as it wants to pull the soldering iron onto the diaphram. Fortunately I was able to do it and everything sonunds good.

A BIC lighter helps with stripping the leads.
