I'm building these cabs for a 8" driver. I have a pair that I want to try. I also think these might be nice for the BetsyK. They are 2cuft resonant cabs. I'll try the BestyK's as soon as I get some. 🙂 This configuration should be very SET low watt/ volume friendly.

The standard Betsy sounds good in the “reso” style resonant cabs. The K might be too bassy. If you’re buying new, I could send you one of each to try.

I have a 7" hole cut in my baffle for rear mounting the driver. Can anyone tell me the dimension of the Betsy measured from the inside edge of the cone?
It’s only 1/4” to small so 1/8” on each side.
My measurements are for Betsy K, not sure if regular Betsy is the same.

I just rechecked and the diameter of the cône including the surround is 7”
The extra 1/4” is the flat surface from the edge of the surround to the cardboard edge. Kinda hard to explain but 7” hole is perfect
