I’ve had a pair of these for several years now. They are in 620 based cabs with stock crossovers. They have been reconed at gpa and are in fantastic shape. I really like them, but, I got to listen to a friend’s JBL 4355s for a week while he moved. I learned that the 605s roll off on the bottom at around 30hz, and on the top end 13.500. I can fill the bottom with a sub without much trouble, what about the top? I really miss the extension of the JBL. Markwart x-over? Super tweeter on top of cab? Diaghram swap? Almost forgot, I’m running them with a Bob Latino st-70 coupled with a MAC mx 110z.
assuming the tweeter is turned down , you could try a small capacitor across the series leg of its pad.
