Altec 416b MLTL, design by GM

You are very kind Greg. I subscribed to hostboard few minutes ago and am discovering several interesting threads about altec+mltl where you actively contributed. Maybe I did not grab the founding one yet.

The thing i would like to confirm is that there are not inside separators in your design for westend. In that case the design would be quite close to an Altec A8, just deeper ?

You're welcome! Unfortunately I don't currently have access to my drawing/tech data, document folders, design programs, etc., so can't help even to the year to search, but it was a long time ago, maybe over a decade now.

No, just a high aspect ratio box with vertical stiffeners, cross tied with dowels or similar to keep the cab from 'breathing' if he did it the way I recommend.

A driver support/mass loading brace should be designed in also to ensure the driver has the most rigid/massive platform practical to efficiently convert electro-mechanical energy to acoustical output.

Hi GM!
I have send you email. Have build a test cabinet. I am capable to change general construction. I just am not to sure about position of speakers and camera I have only some basic calculation. But continued tune it with little changes.
The cab is tall 74 /17.32w/25.8d internally

Now, again. Chervenkoviskren I just can't PM you here for some reason.

Got it and will respond sometime before my day ends. Not yours or forum's fault/problem.

Since you're wanting something different, please have a moderator move you to a dedicated thread where I'll respond as I no longer do DIY audio design in PMs.

BTW, it's not clear to me if yours is a TL or vented [ML] TL, so please list it in the title.
