Anybody have a good source for both the speaker and power terminal blocks for MRV1507 amps? Customer brought me 2 of these amps... I fixed one, but this second is going to not be repaired if I cannot find a donation amp or procurement source for all terminal blocks.
Thank you
Thank you
Pacparts indicates that the power block is available to order.
Are the speaker terminals totally destroyed/missing or simply stripped?

Didn't think to try there.
The speaker terminals I definitely need 2 of. This amp was salvaged of these parts.
The speaker terminals appear to be the same as an Alpine MRV-1000 V12 as I have one of those amps here.

I started re-building this amp's PS, and got the PS to work with several new FETs.
Amp powers and idles at 1.3A, and all three LEDs are green w/ RCA shield grounded, however there is only very faint audio output. Seems this amp is trying to stay muted.
Would that be Q401/Q402? Those are the muting transistors but trying to figure out what would be driving them to activate mute; presumably from the PS side?

I pulled the audio board out, and found really bad solder joints on what was left of the speaker terminals. Seems there IS good audio on terminals at the board and opamps. If PacParts sends me all new terminals, this amp will live again. Ordered.
IC401 has audio signal(2,3,4,6,7,8) and good regulated voltages(1,5,9).

I don't know what FETs you used but this amp has a weak drive circuit. It is also regulated. Problems can be hidden, if there is a problem. You need to force the duty cycle to full to know if there is going to be a problem (if you didn't use the original FETs).
I agree. Of the two 1507s I'm working on, both had IRFZ48N, which I'm replacing with the same parts exactly. On the first amp, I already bench tested it out under full load. I'll try again with reduced input voltage; driving the duty to full. So far seems to be OK with the new replacement IRFZ48n. Both amps are using 10ohm gate resistors and I believe/recall 100ohm pulldowns. No auxiliary drive circuits.
If IRFZ48N are not suitable, then... IRFZ44? 50n06? Seems like either would be a downgrade.

The Z48s are perfectly fine. I've done some with 3205s but with a modified drive circuit. It's not really worth the trouble. The amp is reliable with the original FETs.
