I have a german and english manual for the Alpine 3566, the english manual says it puts our 30W X 4 and 160 X 1 for the 5 channel system, however the german one says 60W X 4 and 280 X 1, anyone have a explanation for this, here is the link to the german manual
go to the section named MERKMALE and it is the first paragraph with the specs

One may be average/RMS power (the manual doesn't specify, as far as I can see) while the other may be based on DIN standards. You'll have to find the DIN standard and look it up to see how the wattage was measured.
It's 30Wx4 plus 60Wx2, real power into 4 ohms. Into 2 ohms, it's 40Wx4 and 80Wx2. Bridged, channels 1+2 produce 80W into 4 ohms, same for channels 3+4. Channels 5&6 can be bridged for 160Wx1 into 4 ohms.
Nice amp.
Alpine also stated 600W "Max Power" for this amp, with no THD, noise, or other notations whatsoever. Don't believe it, the usable power is listed above. I'll scan the spec sheet later and post it.
