Ok got the board off the heatsink, the heatsink is machined just like you said.
I'm going to try to swap the IC's after i bought a new reel of desoldering wire.

So when I swap the IC's the high offset should swap from one channel to another?
Since both channel have a high offset shouldnt i replace both?

Are these IC's any good?

Should I swap the mica insulators when I put the transistors back or can I keep the old ones?
And how about the thermal compound?

I'm only 17 so I don't hope i have to replace a whole lot of stuff, dont have much money😀

Hopefully, the high DC offset will follow the IC. Don't get them mixed up.

Buying old type semiconductors/ICs from ebay is VERY risky. Too many are counterfeit or marked with the wrong part number (which means they're useless). I just purchased some UPC1318AV ICs from a reputable seller and all were mismarked. I don't know what they were but they were not the 1318.

The heatsink compound will need to be replaced before the amp is put back into service. The mica insulators can be reused.

Clamp the transistors down before applying power again.

Is it hard to install such potentiometers?

These IC's dont look too bad, they have been sold 50 times already.
Also comes with 60 days of warranty.
I would like to replace the IC's because of the turn-on problem i get sometimes.
But i will switch the IC's first to see if the offset switches channel.

Thanks for your help!

btw, do you have a service manual for this amplifier?
