Not sure what your experience of the 10P is but if you have never heard a pair before I think you will be amazed when you do. Several years back I built a pair of the Jim Griffin MLTL's for Alpair 10 drivers. This has a smaller footprint to the Pensil which was very useful for but more importantly the same box, with a slightly different length port tube, can be used for either the 10.3 or the 10P. I initially built mine with the 10.3 and this was impressive but the occasional bit of brightness meant they were never quite right for me. I swapped to the 10P's last year and everything fell into place for my ears. It would be great to hear your thoughts when your build is completed and even better if you document here along the way. As the Mark Audio range is frequently upgraded it speaks volumes that the 'old' 10P is still going strong.
