Hi there.
I've been referencing these forums for a while now, and I thought it was about time I joined.
I'm Robinson, 15 years old, from Connecticut in the States.
My dad is a professional musician, and I've loved music since I was a wee lad. I play guitar (folk, folk-rock, and southern rock), and I'm told I'm pretty good. I also dabble in violin and piano.
Over the past few years I've become very interested in making my own gear. I have made lots of effects for my electric guitar, a few SS amps, and am in the process of making a tube amp. I take an independent research/lab class in highschool, and I'm currently working on tube emulation.
I guess thats it for now, but I think you'll start seeing a lot of me in the coming months as I expand my hobby.

Hello Robinson, Good to see you starting young. It seems so many teens these days just want to diddle with the computer and listen to the mp3 player. No real learning if you ask me. It's also cool that you are more open musically than many people your age. I hope you have a fun and fruitful music career, as well as enjoy electronics. So what books, etc. are you using for reference material for your tube amp build?🙂

Dave
