I was wondering a little about how this speaker works.
Does anyone know?
Coming from the ribbon and AMT world I can think of that the 1 mm thin sheet has its end in some magnetic structure like an AMT with only one pleat.
If so, it should be a fairly easy DIY project.

They tell you how it works:
"...Edge Motion®-driven speakers use piezo-electric actuators to stimulate the sides of an optically clear acrylic glass stereo transducer to produce an extremely efficient, piston-like motion...."

Thanks, guess I should have read all the pages
It doesn't say anything about frequency response, though?
But it should still be feasible to implement as a "One pleat AMT".
