Allo Sparky USBridge with Diet Pi- power ON / OFF by IR remote (irplus app)?

Hello,

I have an Allo Sparky USBridge with Diet Pi installed.

This SBC has an infrared port interface and my question is- did anyone configure it to power it ON and OFF by IR remote?

I have a smartphone with IR port and irplus app installed and I'm using it to power ON and OFF my amplifier and DAC and would be great if I could use it as well to control Sparky.
