A good choice, but it depends on the time of the day.
For me, it´s Cragganmore early in the day (and yes, I´ve been there), later on I would try a nice Tomintoul (and yes, I´ve been there) before finishing the day with a Laphroaig Quarter Cask (and yes, I do own a few square feet of ground there).

Back when I was auditioning for Jimmy Buffet's 'God's own drunk', it was Rebel Yell legal moonshine with 'chaser'/mixer to 'taste' when the 'real deal' out of (name deleted to protect the (in)famous guilty) dried up at affordable prices, though guess this might suffice if I ever wanted to reacquaint myself with 'calling for Earl' in the wee-wee hours.

Right, that's going to be tried. 😉 The last bourbon I had was Wild Turkey's Longbranch a few months back -I've had worse, but would probably be better at a higher proof.

Well, some manufacturers exactly state the mess in which the parameters are measured, for example, the following is from JBL (pro):

Over the years of measuring TS/Ps I have found that in order to get stable measurements it is about warm up.

Over the winter in the cold bring in the drivers out of the garage and let them come up to room temperature and watch the TS/P results over 15 or 30 sweeps and the results come close to leveling out.

Same is true for a well used driver and for my knees.
