Aliens, if they exist, must have some form of speakers. Physics applies to all of universe. How they can operate?

Some people just hate everything. It must be a sad sort of life.
The constant criticism and negativity have become very tiresome.

Projecting is usually considered amusing.
But it's an internet thing ya know.
Never meeting in person, or really knowing a person from the internet, going only from what is typed on a screen.

Like everyone, I have preferences and biases.
So that accusation I guess applies to the whole world.

I am pretty sure this has been mentioned on the first page, but I would vote for direct brain stimulation - using some sort of high capacity recorder and playback system. Why limit ourselves to sound only? We could include all the senses and get the ultimate "We are there" thing done. Live rock concerts without bothering the neighbors🙂
Or the other side of the spectrum. A concert of Disaster Area - "Regular concert-goers judge that the best sound balance is usually to be heard from within large concrete bunkers some thirty-seven miles from the stage, whilst the musicians themselves play their instruments by remote control from within a heavily insulated spaceship which stays in orbit around the planet – or more frequently around a completely different planet."

This sort of thing was referred to in the novel 'The Ninja', the final exam had a task to kill the opponent in the fog in totally dark conditions, using a technique called 'haragei', IIRC.
It was written by 'Trevanian'. a pen name of the author.
The target was located by sensing his mind signals, something like that.

So telepathic transfer of mental signals is nothing new.

Sounds like human society is already targeted and pinpointed for control, and/or destruction.
Cellphones, GPS tracking, remote controlled drones... and exploding lithium/ion batteries....
You can't call me a Conspiracy Theorist when those things are real.

There are so many yet unlocked secrets in our own bodies within cells and above all the very functioning of the brain, and here we go, we speculate about what aliens do for sound reproduction! The nearest star is over four lightyears away which is a huge distance amounting to trillions of miles. Even the fastest space travel to date takes thousands of years to cross that distance.

The A5.2/3 CHN-50 fit the same box with a change in tuning and detail.

A5.2eN in their own microSize trapezoid miniOnken
Dave, how & how much does the trapezoid shape help?

Does anyone here know if "smallish" Onken would work well with 50s/60s vintage alnico full-range drivers, 8" round or 6x10 oval? In standard enclosures of any size these drivers don't "rock" bass. My 20+liter planet10-design Fonkensteen F120A 4.75" alnico has pretty amazing bass, but I hesitate to order a 2X huge and relatively expensive double-slot Onken.

The single-bottom-slot Onken, often augmented with additional board(s) to fold & lengthen the internal "transmission line", is ubiquitous on China's taobao/idlefish (eBay-like) which caters to enthusiast/hobbyist/diyer. The double-slot Onken using oak or plywood is more audiophile/upscale (one to several hundred USD).

Have you ever listened to a random stream from e.g. Spotify and just thinked: "Now I am in the mood for this song." And the song plays as the next one. This has happened to me more times than one would think it was a pure coincidence.

My theory to this is - there are electromagnetic waves all around spreading information. The cells react to the EM waves and under some circumstances, can decode the information and provide it to the consciousness. This would also explain things that happened to me quite a few times. I had a dream or just an idea that something has happened. And it really happened without myself knowing it and I read about it in the news next day. Not the expected kind of things (e.g. a famous singer, who was old and ill died), but all sorts of random stuff, that cannot be explained otherwise) The other explanation would be telepathy or some kind of universal thought sharing. Or maybe more simply, unconsciously hearing people talking about it before?

... and the crucial question is, did you "hear" others, or just your future self? 😵

Once, long time ago, I had a dream that I went with a friend to a place where we were supposed to find large yellow transparent stones. In the dream, they were amber. The next day I told about the dream at school and we went to that place later in the afternoon. We found large yellowish transparent stones - but they were large pieces of rosin. I cannot explain this. Maybe seeing future self? 🙂

Enuff to make it worthwhile the extra effort if your goal is to maximize the ability of the box to disapear in the room.

Depends on the driver, miniOnken are fairly tightly tied to the specific driver. Got good T/S?

Back in 1999, I built a stereo console from scratch.
I call it the "Symphony 2000 Deluxe", in white melamine finish with blue accents.
It's rather compact at only 36 inches wide.
A unique feature of this console is a motorized powered top lid (I called it DynaLift) that only requires a gentle tug, and in 4 seconds it's open, revealing the components inside.

The speakers are modest, 3 inch tweeters, 6.5 inch high-compliant woofers.
I used a bass-reflex type of system in a way similar to those Onken designs, except that the ports fired out the rear of the cabinet.
The result?... those 6.5 inch woofers perform like 12 inch monsters due to the porting that I merely guessed at!
