Aliens, if they exist, must have some form of speakers. Physics applies to all of universe. How they can operate?

Due to the crisis about commodities they had to evolve and loose their ears.👽😱😎

On some planets a cult was born and in a famous temple on the planet Bzzzzscrrrrsquiiiitch, there is a relic which no one know what it is. Two orange balls with a wire to a square box marked SONY. But the legend said it was maybe an heavy box marked BOULDER with two bamboos for transportation.

Another species eventually developped a nose only because coco as shown in this video found in Kheops pyramid.
. It is said that this species is stealing music intrument artifacts all other the universe.

  • Much different than our speakers?
  • do they have audiophiles? i guess so
  • How did they come up with their speaker tech, tried all the concepts we are using?
  • Can they hear much below 20Hz and way above 20Khz?
  • Do their speakers weigh more than their bodies? ---> Extremely unlikely!
What if we could ASK aliens, how to build the perfect speaker? or at least ask for some general suggestions?

Guess what, you can actually ask and receive answer, but without any 100% guarantee the answer comes from true Alien.
Worth trying anyway, huh?

Finally, something you dont know for sure. There is a guy name Darryl Anka. Remember the pop singer from Canada in late 60s, Paul Anka? Darryl is his cousin. So Darryl is EXTREMELY and i mean truly top 5 on this planet intelligent fellow. With vast psychological knowledge, way beyond all others.
he has unique business, he is doing "channeling" sessions , live to audience. Basically repeating what an Alien nickname Bashar transmits to his brain via telepathy. Bashar says he is from Essassani race.

Ok, to the point.... Anka once said on their planet they have music, but its much more simple than ours.

Bashar wanted to communicate also, humans are "masters of limitations" in the Galaxy. Also, to follow your passions to the best of your ability until you cannot take it any further. Sounds familiar?
You can tell this is garbage because how would race even enter the conversation if all you ever knew were aliens that look just like you. What a load of bull.

Hey its wonderful stuff to train imagination, free thinkin, don't pass it 😀

If there was sound in alien world where they have evolved, pressure variation in medium, then the question is probably what the medium is? Air? Then the hearing systems would be something like here on earth, perhaps, some kind of pressure sensing system. We have ears but also skin, guts, can sense sound pressure variation. What if it was some fluid? Perhaps no ears. What if they have evolved some other senses instead, for communication and competition with other species and no sense for sound?

Anyway, there is sound ok and something to sense it. Then, what processing is attached to it?😀 Brain? Anyone allowed to make noise, dictatorship for million years so that evolution dropped the ears out? Ok billion questions.

Alright, to loudspeakers, lets assume there is some gas medium and hearing system which would be pleased by sound transmitted through the medium and its allowed to happen and they like it. Alright, well, how to transmit pressure variation to the medium? We are stuck with few technologies like pistons and some others but what if they'd be capable to control stuff in atomic level or something, make sound appear from seeming nothing? Cool, no loudspeakers, ideal situation but boring for diyaudio perspective.

Lets assume they also need loudspeakers, pistons for example. Then their size would be related to wavelength they would like to hear, then their size would be related to wavelengt which depends on speed of sound in the gas, and sensitivity of hearing. Something like us or anything on this planet. Quick check what would make good loudspeaker for bats? Bats hear ~ 9 kHz -120 kHz range by Wikipedia so they would need ~3mm tweeters for good wide directivity up to 100kHz and ~2" woofers would already beam so perhaps three way system consisting of 1" bass, 0.5" mid and 0.1" tweeter would be fine for a bat 😀

^Just wear Polaroid earmuffs. Also, if the "ears" would locate in "butt" would they wear buttphones in their earbutts?😀 what

Anyway, more useful thinkin process for us diyers is to reverse the situation, make yourself alien and figure out what kind of speakers would make good for humans.

Another more earthly question would be: Are there other ways of generating sound waves from an audio signal not yet known to audio engineering?

Since audio engineering has been with us for over a century and several bright engineers worked on it, I very much doubt it.

Remember the memory erasing white flash unit seen in the Men in Black movies? Those advanced life forms also have a reverse version that flashes black light. It is capable of downloading today's play list directly into the brain's memory for direct play.

Low quality earth based version, ......ever go through the "It's a small world" ride at Disney World? They downloaded that annoying song into your non volatile memory, then pop subliminal messages into TV commercials so that it will be spontaneously replayed with annoying accuracy at the most inopportune moment.

Speakers? We don't need no stinkin speakers!

I fully expect so.

MEMS are the latest example that i know of. Tech needing smaller mics and speakers drove their development.

DML is another example.

They don’t come often, but they come.

I just love the sound from a smaller speaker!
A pair of 6 inch woofers in a skinny tall tower always excite me - to want to leave the room.
But ya know, 'it's the thing these days, all the rage'

I just love the sound from a smaller speaker!

These work very well.

There is the idealized notion of a nearly massless, yet fullrange, pulsating(elastic) sphere, or tall cylinder. We humans have developed very imperfect approximations.

Yeah, and I'm sure they would give me goosebumps from their tremendous thundering bass response.

Bass is limted but goosebumps yes. Not enuff bass?

Modern mass-produced and overly expensive garbage.

Rare, hand built out of solid wood. Made in a shed in Nanaimo. They sound really good and are art pieces.
