I have noticed an improvement in highs when selecting a small amount of capacitance ( 47pF-94pF ) parallel in use with my Grado Black Prestige cartridge.Can someone explain me why it does so ,even if 94pf seems a bit too much when listening ?

I really do not know
But maybe you have very low capacitance in your cables.
The total capacitance depends on cable capacitance
and lenght of cable plus that input capacitor, usually 47pF

I used Grado Prestige too: black , blue and gold .
Hopefully that the expression will be correct, but I know that Grado works out of common MM - MC double binary, with a system called variable reluctance . It is not my intention to try to explain how it works , but it works.
I obtained the best results with pearl ono at 47k ohm for imput resistor and no capacitance at all.
Currently I'm using an MC with the aleph ono and I can't say with it.
Somewere in the sheet packed wit the Prestige it is write : non sensitive to capacitance loads, or so if I remember well.

I don't know the actual electrical specs of the Grados, but I suspect they're still quite inductive. The loading capacitance you're adding in is in parallel with the cable capacitance, which if a fully shielded design (likely) can easily be a couple of hundred pF itself.

Pearl vs Ono

Did use ever try the same cartridge with both units? I am going to build a Pearl after finishing a Zen V4.
Currently there is a gutted Croft Epoch serving as a phono stage. DIY step ups with AN UK iron boost a Denon 103R into the tube phono.
I paln on using the step ups into the Pearl to boost the signal, but may drop them if it is better without. I have all theparts for the Pearl now except cases. With better caps and and a CLC power supply I hope to refine the sound a little. But the circuit is designed to be non sensitive to parts quality.
This is my first trip back into solid state building since the mid 80's. I expect the sound to have evolved as my knowledge has expanded in layout, design, and parts selection.

The truth is that I traid the Grado (s) only with the Pearl .
The output of the Grado is optimal with Pearl
If you are asking me at reagard of the couplin brtween MC cartridge and the Pearl the answer is : I use an low output AudioTechnica ( early nineteens ) coupled with the Aleph Ono.
This MC with the Pearl do not give me good results , I guess too low gain .
But considering the lack of feedback and the semplicity of the design , the coupling Pearl/Grado is a very good listening experience, expecially with string quartets , and every recording where the masses aren't too complicate .
The choice of boosting the signal from a cartridge into a Pearl depends by the peculiarity of the cartridge itself . Sure it worths a try.
