Hi,
I have some questions about aleph30.
First,
On the schematic there are three resistors without any value. There are R8?, R8* and R1*. What does it mean ?
I would like to use IRFP244(TO247 case) transistors instead of IRF244(TO3 case). Can this cause sound quality problems or does these transistors sound as good as the TO3 versions?
Thanks for your answers.

I don't see why different transistor cases can cause sound problems.....
As for the unmarked resistors try running a search on the topic of 'Aleph 30 unmarked resistors'

Hi
R1 is used to trim Power Supply Rejection
R8 is used to trim DC Offset
But you don't need those resistors. I'm not going to use those in my Aleph either.
IRFP244 will work very good..
