I guess, you do this well.
I like the beautiful industrial implementation very much.
Would you be able to take a photo of the boards?
I can see it you too Nikon D80 uses.
Best Regards
Gyuri
Excuse my reply later, I was out of town.
I finished late last night with the wires, after which I made with pictures
Nicon D80 🙂🙂)
Best regards!

This is very, very nice project!😎
One of the best what I seen.🙂
Gyuri
Thanks Gyuri, your appreciation means a lot to me!
I love Projects by Nelson Pass.
Everything I've done so far (AlephP1, 7, Aleph 5, FX5 balanced) were wonderful as sound.
Especially now since I made the CDPRO2M +Buffalo II DAC (dual-mono)
Aleph2 want to start this week, hoping to luck🙂🙂
Best regards!

Now that is a serious build!
The only thing that would bother me is the placement/orientation of the coils. Take a look at Placement of coils in crossover networks. I'd sleep better if I knew that the inductors weren't talking so much to each other 😀
how do you move the amplifier? Looks like they're too heavy for one person.
I fixed wheels onto mine!

Thanks for ... Heavy Metal🙂🙂
For coils ... I do not know, to be so bad?
Weight does not interest me, I know it's worth🙂
Anyway, it's less than the Gyuri 🙂🙂🙂
But I got the wheels I like it🙂
Regards!
The things are not so plain always because of that.
My Aleph amplifier shows some drone.
This mostly it with Fostex FE-206 MLTL loudspeakers annoying, since these are so sensitive. With KEF Q75 loudspeakers the phenomenon not so considerable.
My opinion that the reason of the droning in the thrown magnetic field has been looking for.
So, before the man puts an amplifier together not trouble, that the given arrangement causes drone or not, if he can try it before.
Although what you made appears better.
But the test of the pudding the eating.
I hope so, I am understandable somehow.

I'll go now on this version with coils.
If they have problems ... I will try other solutions🙂
But ... I hope you luck!

I am very happy, first amplifier Aleph2 work!
After an hour we work the following values:
U 45.2 V;
Outlet - 3.2 mV
Bias 3A.
I put a speaker - silence!
Temperature heatskins - 45grade.
On R 1 ohm I these tensions:
0.488 v 0.504 v 0.507 v 0.505 v 0.503 v 0.488 v
0.498 v 0.494 v 0.494 v 0.491 v 0.494 v 0.500 v
Please Tell me if these are ok ..
Thanks!

Nice job! Very tight matching

Hi ,
Glad everything is ok at matching!
Thank you Gyuri , Juma ,Rodeodave for your help and feedback🙂
Now I start on the second amp, I hope I am lucky🙂🙂
Best regards!

Hi !
Later last night I finished second monoblok .
Work!!🙂🙂
We measured voltages:
U : 45.4 V
U out: 3.1 mV
On 1 ohm:
0.500 0.509 0.503 0.511 0.513 0.501
0.504 0.511 0,523 0.504 0.506 0.504
I connected a speaker - very quiet !
I want to help me please how to gain more accurate measures.
Gain should be different for 4ohm and 8 ohm speaker?
My speakers are 4 ohms, the gain would have to adjust to them?
Thank you !

Vitaly

Are you talking about adjusting the Aleph current source?
Yes, about 50% gain adjustment🙂
How do the Aleph2?
Do not know if the 4 ohm speakers must be set another value ...
Thank you!
From what info I can find, the Aleph 2 doubles its power into 4 ohms.
If you have followed the design closely I would not mess with the AC current gain. 200 watts / channel @ 4 ohms should be enough, don't you think?

Again,
The second amp came out just as nice as the first one! Congratulations!
There are several sources of info for the adjustment of the Aleph current source. For Example:

Digging around a little more, the standard A2 AC current gain is over 60%. It could be lowered to 50% if you are willing to give up quite a bit of output power. Would the amp still be an Aleph 2, that's debatable.
Never the less, your work is most impressive.

Hi Rodeodave ,
After reading here :

everything is clear🙂🙂
Thanks very much!!!
