That's a waaaaay awesome prize. Think about it - An Alpeh 3 (perhaps the most talked about amplifier of the 90's) owned and listened to by the guy who designed it. Its like owning one of Edison's original lightbulbs! 
Incidentally, I wonder how much DC current one of Edsion's original light bulbs would draw from a 40 Volt supply. Hmmm.
