Hello Everyone,
It's been a while....
Now that a few Aleph X's have been built, I'm hoping for opinions from folks who have both... I'm trying to save a bit of money and not build a two pairs of each just yet...
For the high end in a biamped system which sounds better, the original Aleph or the new Aleph X design? Can you describe the differences? Are the differences that noticeable/substantial?
How about for the bottom end? Aleph X or back to the original X amps?
Your thoughts????
Thanks,

It seems like active speaker project from Pass Labs, Rushmore, is powered by Aleph X in the subbass area and 3 other channels are powered by regular Alephs. Or is it because of convenience in power supply rails voltage?
My findings are that the Aleph X has better and tighter bass and highs are more pronounced and sort of etched (without being fatiguing though), when comparing to regular Alephs. The X amp seems to be cleaner and more neutral.
