It shouldn't take Nelson an excessive amount of time to get the layout done. The boards have been already laid out for two generations of amps. So my guess the PCB file is in some harddisk collecting virtual dust.

Just a thought,
I used a PDF layout of a very helpful diy Alph4 builder (Mark Finnis) in Nelson DIY gallery. There is a link to his own home page with down loads.
Essentially the boards can be used for any of the Alphe models (2,5,4, 30 & 60) with the only requirement being to scale the power boards per number of devices and adjust certain resister values.
Using theses boards overcame some initial difficulties with interpretation of the schematics.
I managed to print the PFD onto HP overhead transparency film and then etch the layout using positive resist boards.
The quality is excellent.
Please note I am a new member and find your posts very interesting and helpful regarding bias etc.
So far I have made the Alphe 3 and recently upgraded to the Alphe 5, they work flawlessly and the quality is a tribute to Mr Pass.
I would be pleased to hear from any of you and compare notes on your projects.
I would also like to thank Mr Pass for his assistance with my project
best regards
