Does anyone know of a source for Aleph P1.7 boards other than KK-PCB.
Even the artwork would do as can produce my own.

Hi Zen-Mod.
I've got one of your Pumpkin/Shuntky dual mono pre-amps.
Its odd. It works fine after a few minutes. HOWEVER, when you first turn it on it sounds like the shores of a beach until the circuitry settles down. Once its been on for a minute its absolutely brilliant. Is this normal ?

This one was built with a few problems with the Shuntkys. All the best components have been used throughout.

in my opinion boards of kkpcb are well made and do not cost too much.
I have already decided that when I realize the aleph p I'll use those, I feel useless to waste time looking for another when I already know where to find a good product at a fair price

You might try contacting Veteran, a member of the diyaudio community. He hosted a group buy for Aleph P 1.7 and power supply pcbs several years ago. While I don't see his posts very often these days, he might have some boards left. You could also try reaching him through his website, http://www.unisonus.com/en_US/index
Regards,
Scott

zen mod. have you fond any foults?
i for one are very happy with them.
it is a little high price. but thats it🙂
KK-PCBs are expensive. It's very easy to make your own for a fraction of their price.
If you have access to a laser printer you can make an A4 sized board for the cost of the clad board plus a kilo of ferric chloride.

no, it isn't normal ;
write more details inthread , so we can try to solve that
I've moved to suggested thread and will be making some tests tomorrow.
