Hello

Anyone show me how to closest calculation of gain of Aleph P consider value of 2k pot?

I have serched in the forum and found some calculation formular but it seem to have some missing parameters make it have some deviation from the actual.

roughly, each half

(R53 // R56)/(2Kpot/2 + R51)

so

(10K // 4K75) / (1K + 100R)

when going to decrease setting of 2K pot, gain going up but then xconductance of mosfets starting to dominate .......... exact calc over-heading my abilities in time of first morning coffee

in any case - fire up LTSpice and play with

This is gain in bal or single mode?

gain per phase

say bal in, you'll get 4times that for bal out; 2V in, 8V out

if you go SE in, you'll get 4times that on SE out but also same as above for Bal out, due to function of SE/Bal conversion; 1V SE in, 4V SE out, 8V Bal out

It has the usual gain of power amplifiers. You will need two burning amplifier output stages. Think of an amplifier with twice the supply voltage but running cooler. Best used with bass horns and not bass reflex. The pot adjusts open loop gain. R5,R48 provide feedback.
