Hello. Is it possible to use potentiometer at the Aleph L preamp output? What value should it be?
That would be the stock Aleph L. I also recommend an input
potentiometer specifically to avoid input overload, with the
output pot used for everyday volume control.

Thanks mr. Pass. I guess i should just buckle up and make the stepped attenuator. After all a serial one is not that hard to build.
Start out with a regular pot if you like. You can always
upgrade to the switched attenuator later, and then you will
get to hear the difference.
