Hello,
I'm drawing the PCB for my new Aleph Mini/Aleph 3/Aleph J.
Actually I have not yet decided which one of the three to build, so the PCB should be "universal" in manner I can test the differeny flavours of the Aleph serie...
Anyway, my question is: it is quite impossible to find the 2SJ109 dual jfet here in Italy, so is it possible to use two separate, maybe matched, jfets?
Is so, ist here anybody that can help me with the selection of the part?
Anybody already built the Aleph J with such a separate jfets?
I can buy from RS Components, Farnell, Distrelec, so a part available on their catalogs would be the optimum.
Thank you in advance.
Another question: is there anybody interested in the PCB? my idea is to draw it and then order it to a Chinese, trusted company, with which I have already worked in the past; but they accept a minimum order of at least 10 boards or so, and I need only 2 or 4...
Being universal, like the one BrianGT has drawn, they would accept a single pair of mosfet or 2 paralleled one for each side, on separate power boards.
I decided to draw my own pcb for 2 reason:
1. I don't want to buy from the US, cause shipping cost are too high and the Italian customs is very ugky
2. I made few personal changes to the circuit: a cascoded CCS for the driver and a separate, floating power supply for the active current souce in the power stage (of course the PCB will accept also the "standard" circuit).
Ciao,
Giovanni
