Aleph J Versus Babelfish J V2

After reading through large number of posts, I am converging on the Aleph J as the project to follow an ACA build.

I have tried to discover the differences/advantages/disadvantages of the "official" circuit versus Zen Mod's Babelfish variant.

Any insights?

Also, price aside, what are the trade-offs between a Toshiba JFET set from a known vendor and the Linear versions?

Zen Mods version has far more options with regard to output power.

Would you say that the sound quality is equivalent at the design spec of the Aleph J?

Is there a thread with a reasonably concise description of/guide to the Babelfish? As a beginner, it is hard to go through a long thread and figure out what is needed, what is current and what the options are, etc.

Speaker - to be determined, I am starting with the amplifiers. I can go with 8+ ohm drivers to accommodate the Aleph J.

I will go active, probably a 3-way.
