put relay contacts as normaly closed switch between pre out and gnd
you can put some 47R-470R in series with switch
you can use heater supply for timer
if heater supply is in range of 6V , use 6V relay
if 12, then 12

I have at hand some axicom 5V smd relays but I would like to use a schematic that uses relay normal open circuit so the coil work only for 1 minute. is it posible only with transistors?
relay must be closed while preamp is off , so you must use normaly-ON contacts
when you power it - timer is counting , then energizing relay to remove muting
use sch No.3 -short instead of pictured S1-so it will start counting right after power is applied
so - now you have know-how ....... just use plain simple logic ...... and make it

yes...you are right but the relays aren`t audio type and they aren`t screened neither as for this I would like to use a counter fom 0 to 60 that after this period would stop power on the relay.as saying earlier would like to use normal open circuit so when i power on this closes, shorts output for one minute and after this removes power from relay.thought about this because I don`t want any magnetic fields near audio signal wires, conectors, if this issue isn`t a problem I will use sch. no 3
it's alway pity to heat caps with anything
screw those resistors to bottom of the case , and just connect them with fat wires up

seems like I can start asembling the ps
