I recently finished my Aleph 60 clone, and as Nelson sad: build one and you will likely go for another one... 🙂
I am ordering parts for F5Tv2 and having this idea: my Aleph 60 monos have +/-35(32 under load) and dissipate approx same amount of heat as F5Tv2. Is it a good idea just to put them in the same chassis(each ch.) and make a switch which one to power while another disconnected? Concerns I see: physically fit, non working MOSFETs will still be heated up to ~70C. What do you think, stupid?

well - they will like nice and cozy storage temp
whatever - switch isn't wisest option , unless you make it in form of something really sturdy
see - pcbs and rest of electronic parts aren't so expensive ; make F5Tv2 in same case , and keep what you like more
if you like them both , make another case

Ok, I see 🙂. I do not like the idea of choosing. There are some records I listen on my aleph... I do not wan't to let it go, never. Well I am getting very emotional here, stop! 🙂.
Another thing -- free space. I will not able to fit two more monos in my place (you know, postdocs are not very reach 🙂 and not sure that one 5U chassis will be able to manage the HEAT.
