aleph 5 power supply advices

hi , all

I would like to make Aleph 5 amplifier for myself .

can you advise me if it is possible to make a stereo amplifier with only one transformer?

also i have a question about a 2.2mH coil in power supply . I can do it with aircore or metal core ?
Which will be better ?

They were built with just one transformer. The cored coils tend to be noisey and saturate.

Hi. This may help. I would say it makes little difference as long as it does not saturate.
