Hello guys,
I can't hold myself anymore. The wireing is kind of crappy, and I had to use some really old caps for the PS for one of the channels. But here it is. It has about 1000 hours of running by now. Sounds really good!
Here is the beauty. My Aleph 30 with the prototype Aleph P 1.7 on top.
From behind. Grounding the cold input of the XLR is done on the inside of the A30.
Here is a picture of the rats nest. I've not yet pushed myself far enough to rewire the mess. So many projects, so little time. If you look on the XLR inputs, you can see my crocodile cables making the jumper from cold to 0.
Another angle of the mess...
Here is a picture of the amplifier board for one channel. Cred to Panos29, who designed the board itself. When I started this project I wasn't really able to design it myself.
This is just a picture from the front. Everything is standing on my CD changer.
Well, thats all, folks!

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

Great amp!
What about posting construction hints, your current setup, PS, output devices, etc?
Cheers
Andrea / just fired up one channel of mine and willing to test the other also

Your Aleph looks great, except for the wiring that I beleave you
are going to take care of. Are you?
And what about your CD changer? What model is it? What company?
I'am thinking of putting my cd collection into a cd changer like
this. It really looks nice....
bye,
Mario
