Aleph 3 speaker protection

I have inherited some populated Aleph 3 boards from a good friend and would like to try it with a pair of SMPS’ that I have laying around. I believe they are 24v 5A each

Question I have is should I worry about speaker protection? If so what is a decent basic finished board that would work for these?

if you prefer finished boards there are some cheap asian made at *bay
both single and dual channel -
the ones using UPC1237 are said to be quite good.
or you try the boards from the store and diy

Looks like they all need AC anyway so SMPS won't work!
