I am a bit of a fan of retro Brit hifi and have recently started acquiring odds and sods off Ebay, if the price is right!. I recently found what appears to be a very rare bird an ALBA 1500 receiver. I cant find anything about it on the net but it appears to have the the UA700 tuner section complete with the identical glass screen including, tuning direction indicators (A La Leak module 80) I know this because I used to own the UA700 and UA900 amp.(very underated piece of kit ) coupled to a 15 watt rms amplifier section. Has anyone come across this receiver before or know how many were produced etc?
