I was informed by my ex that if I built any more speakers, she was going to put all of them, and me, outside in the car-port. I asked her (as a joke) if she was going to leave the speaker cable attached. 😀 She didn't speak to me for the next few days...
Perhaps start her on something like KT Tunstall (I actually like her believe it or not, she seems a happy little thing) and work up to Polly and Patti in gradual increments. Perhaps she won't notice. 😉

It wasn't the happiness (or lack of it). The comment raised was, "She can sing, so why won't she?" Yet she liked Tom Waits - you just never know which way they're going to jump...
